Drum Dock™ mounting system
A Smarter Way to MountChemical Metering Pumps
Most metering pumps end up on a wall bracket, a shelf, a stand, or something a technician improvised on site. Then the drum needs changing, and the pump, the suction tubing, the foot valve and the ceramic weight all have to be handled separately. That is service time, contact with chemically wetted components, and a real chance of contamination, incorrect reassembly, or a pump that loses prime. The Drum Dock mounts the pump straight to the drum.
Definition
What is a chemical metering pump drum mount?
A drum mount holds the metering pump on the chemical drum itself rather than on a wall, shelf or stand beside it. The Drum Dock threads into the standard 2″ FNPT bung opening on a drum or tank and gives the pump a low-profile platform directly above the chemical it is feeding.
The point is not tidiness. It is that the pump, the suction tubing, the foot valve and the weight become one assembly that lifts off together, so a drum change stops being a job where someone handles four wetted parts separately over an open container.
The platform uses the standard mounting pattern for the Walchem EWP Series pump bracket, and can be modified to accommodate most major chemical metering pump brands. The pump bracket itself is not included.
Why it matters
What does it change on a service call?
Drum changes
One assembly, not four parts
Pump, suction tubing, foot valve and ceramic weight lift off together. Fewer wetted components handled, less chance of contamination or a pump that comes back without prime.
Installation
No brackets, shelving or stands
It threads into the bung opening the drum already has. Nothing to drill, nothing to mount to a wall that may not be yours to drill into.
What the customer sees
A finished installation
Tubing routed through a slot behind the pump into the tank, cable managed, nothing improvised. A plant manager can tell the difference between equipment that was installed and equipment that was rigged.

Optional
Keyence® level sensor bracket
Tank level is the signal that tells you whether chemical actually moved. The optional bracket mounts a Keyence level sensor directly to the Drum Dock arm, so the reading comes from a fixed position rather than wherever the sensor happened to be taped.
- Positions the sensor for accurate level monitoring.
- Provides strain relief and cable management.
- Mounts directly to the Drum Dock arm.
- Designed for Keyence level sensors. Sensor not included.
Inside an AquaCore program, that level reading lands in the Hub beside the controller data, which is how a tank drawdown gets matched against a feed event instead of taken on trust.

Frequently asked questions
Drum Dock questions
What size drum opening does the Drum Dock need?
A standard 2″ FNPT bung opening, which is what most chemical drums and tanks already have. The Drum Dock connects with a 2″ MNPT thread, so nothing needs to be drilled or adapted on a standard container.
Which metering pumps does it fit?
The platform uses the standard mounting pattern for the Walchem EWP Series pump bracket, and can be modified to accommodate most major chemical metering pump brands. The bracket itself is not included. Maximum pump weight is 5 lb.
How does the suction tubing reach the chemical?
A slot behind the pump routes the tubing down into the tank, and the ceramic weight and foot valve insert through the same opening. Fewer fittings in the path means fewer places to leak.
Is it compatible with the chemicals we feed?
It is built from Schedule 80 PVC, which is compatible with a wide range of water treatment chemicals and rated for 32°F to 140°F. As with any wetted component, verify material compatibility against the specific chemical and concentration before installation.
Does the Drum Dock require the rest of an AquaCore program?
No. It is a mechanical mounting system and works with whatever pump and controller a site already runs. Inside an AquaCore program it pairs with the optional level sensor bracket so tank drawdown is logged against feed events in the Hub.
